Bees Its spring again when
the flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and the
bees are busy. It’s a lovely time of the year, unless you are the owner of
a property that bees swarm to and decide to settle at. If they establish a
hive in between walls or in a tree too close to your house it can become a
dangerous problem that needs to be dealt with urgently. Swarming of the honey
bee colony is an annual event, which generally will occur during spring
when the weather is warmer and nectar and pollen is plentiful. A bee colony
may increase in size rapidly at this time of the year and will generally
become over-crowded. This is when the queen from the original nest will
pack up and leave with some of her fellow workers in search for a new
location for a nest. This location could be the cavity wall of your home,
your shed or any other dark place. You may find that you will have a lot of
bees hanging around your garden, if there is a nest close by, especially if
you have a pool or water that has collected in small puddles around your
house. The bees will be attracted to this water and will collect it to take
back to the nest. This water helps control their nest temperature; these
bees are not necessarily swarming. A swarm of bees will stay in the area in
a large group and will usually settle in a cluster. If the bees are just
looking for water you will find that they will come and go from the
property. If you are having a
